What it happened again? But we still don’t know! All we know is that once in a while every successful couple – and even passionate lovers – needs a break from each other. So this time, you get David Woods on the green alone. No Tiger around. Just another man and his caddy. Nevertheless, he has the “License To Drill”, a “Slazenger 1″ in his pocket and “1:00:00″ to kill. Track after track after track by a true crack. Funky peak time!

| With the aim of identifing and capturing the aesthetic and evolving sense of the artistic avantgardes that are emerging in the global scene, Hartvest once again dissects sounds and images coming from the most diverse locations and motivated by different cultural traditions.
This year’s artistic proposal focuses in identifying the artists who have characterized this scene the most , through their research. THE CONCEPT OF THE FESTIVAL. HAR(T)VEST refers to the English term harvest which literally means “crop”. The inclusion of the letter “T” ,in brackets, forming the word “ART”, defines the aesthetic and conceptual space of the Festival. Last year we managed to assemble an eclectic group of international artists, each one with his/her own peculiarity, with whom we succeeded to create a unique atmosphere inside the wonderful fortress. Har (t) vest wants to communicate the synergic power that connects tradition and innovation. Tradition plays its role through the location: the Sienese hills, the wine, the ancient art of wine making and the consequent conviviality, as well as Tuscany’s life style. Innovation is carried up by us through the presentation of Avant-garde international music, theater, visual and performing arts. |

Dopo il sorprendente successo dello scorso anno, MIT – il festival dei nuovi suoni realizzato da Musica per Roma in collaborazione con Snob Production – torna il 22 e 23 luglio per una nuova edizione ricchissima di novità ed artisti tra i più interessanti e seguiti del panorama internazionale. Due giorni di musica e festa, in tutti gli spazi interni ed esterni dell’Auditorium, a partire dalla grande cavea all’aperto, per proseguire in tutte le sale, foyer, corridoi, bar… spazi differenti, in molti casi re-inventati per il festival, in cui scoprire live, dj set, performance e istallazioni.
L’edizione 2011 di Meet In Town si aprirà venerdì 22 luglio con il tributo ad una band che, come poche altre, ha saputo andare oltre le barriere di genere, fondendo tradizioni e mondi musicali differenti: quello del rock indipendente e quello della dance e dell’elettronica. I due più importanti riferimenti attorno a cui si sviluppa il concept e la programmazione del festival.
Screamadelica, l’album che i Primal Scream eseguiranno integralmente dal vivo sul palco della cavea, rappresenta la summa ed il miglior esempio di questo straordinario processo di fusione e contaminazione. Quella di MIT sarà l’unica data italiana del nuovo tour dedicato al ventennale della pubblicazione del capolavoro della band di Bobby Gillespie.
Ma la line up del festival (Venerdì – Sabato) si compone di molti altri artisti, che, ciascuno col proprio particolare stile, stanno segnando in maniera significativa l’universo musicale dei nuovi suoni.
